JSC Hokkaido Corporation was established in 2015 with investment from local companies and regional financial institutions based in Hokkaido.​ ​
設立以来、地域密着商社として国内および中国・東南アジアを中心とした海外への北海道産品の販路拡大を目指し活動しております。

Japan's population is expected to decline rapidly in the future, and Hokkaido's population is projected to decrease from the current 5.15 million people (as of the end of March 2022) to 4 million people by 2045.
It is inevitable for Hokkaido-based companies to strengthen their business with foreign countries amid declining population, but it is not easy for small and medium-sized enterprises to handle "collection of sales proceeds", "hedge foreign exchange risks" and "negotiations with foreign companies" on their own.
We have established a one-stop system to support such activities. We will continue to take on the challenge of making Hokkaido a better place.
